A Nigel Ingram designed 180ft classic ketch, Marie combines classic lines and modern performance.
Marie has an advanced hydraulic system controlling the captive and drum winches, bow and stern thrusters
– all activated by a Vitters’ developed PLC-system.
The carbon fibre masts can carry up to 3300sq.m of sail, with in furling booms for main and mizzen sails.
Latest technology and expert knowledge in rigging, results in Marie delivering a knot above true wind speed.
Designed by David Easton Design together with Hoek Design, Marie’s interior respects and enhances the privacy of its guests.
The aft owner’s cabin is directly connected to an owner’s deckhouse and aft cockpit,
whilst the two helm stations are incorporated in the main cockpit forward of this deckhouse.
The Owners chose their dream team of Vitters Shipyard, Hoek Design and Nigel Ingram to create Marie,
this proven line-up have a history of successful cooperation, having created sailing yachts
including the triple award-winning Adèle and Erica XII.
