Sarissa wins Design Award 2012

Vitters Shipyard is delighted to announce the receipt of a prestigious ShowBoats Design Award for its most recent launch SY Sarissa. Tripp Design Naval Architects signed for the naval architecture of this stunning 42m carbon performance sloop. Naval architect Stephane Leveel from Tripp Design, Owners representative Jens Cornelsen and Vitters Shipyard director Louis Hamming proudly received the golden Neptune on Friday 22nd June at the Monaco Opera House.

Sarissa impressed the independent jury being a fast cruising globetrotter with her carbon hull, fully modern sail plan and foils, and her distinctive profile with a mainsheet arch and paired vertical port lights.
