SARISSA
Sarissa, a 42 meter sloop, will be a challenging and different yacht due to the carbon composite hull and the light weight constructions of systems. Sarissa will be one of the biggest carbon composite superyacht in length to date and a real scoop for the superyacht world. It is not the first time Vitters Shipyard is working on a light weight composite hull but she will be a challenging project in all aspects.
The emphasis of weight control has been pushed even further with the use of Nomex core for the structure and simpler, lighter systems. All in view of a busier racing schedule. Composite rigging, lifting keel and lightweight construction are all part of the classic set up enjoyed by the vast majority of the cruising boat designs of Tripp Design Naval Architects.
