KOO (Ex. Red Dragon) 2002
Koo, a 42.9 metre (140 ft.) aluminium sloop, is designed by Dubois Naval Architects Design. Her powerful performance,
caused by her streamlined deckhouse and cockpit, make the yacht attractive as both a cruising and as a racing yacht.
Draft was limited to under 13 foot but good performance is possible with a streamlined but high stability hull shape.
The rig with in furling boom is by Marten Spars and the furling boom allows good sail area.
The mahogany interior is designed by Redman, Whitely, Dixon Design. Next to an impressive master stateroom, Koo has three guestrooms each with en-suite shower.
In all her facets, interior as well as exterior, Koo is built to a high performance level. Our experience of large cruising yachts was used to good effect with regard to performance and sea keeping. The streamlined blue-flag aluminium hull in combination with the mahogany interior represent a delightful appearance.
