Cavo D’Oro
Cavo D’Oro, a 18.3 metre (60 ft) fast powerboat, is an ultra-fast and exceptionally sea-kindly Dubois designed yacht. Her hull underwent extensive tank testing to ensure that she would have a smooth ride at high speeds.
Constructed in pre-impregnated resin composite and strengthened with Kevlar and carbon fibre materials, Cavo d’Oro is exceptionally strong yet weight-efficient. This has resulted in a high level of performance, with a top speed of 45 knots. Cavo D’Oro has a deep V hull and is driven by twin MTU engines through Lips waterjets.
The design mixes a certain retrospective look at the racing powerboats of the 60s era. At the same time, the levels of luxury are exceptional for a boat of this class. The interior, designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon Design, has a large owners’ stateroom with ensuite bath, two guest cabins with bath, dining for six and a well-equipped galley, all elegantly sculpted in natural oak.
