Marguerite

The Owner of Marguerite asked us to build a yacht that felt like home and yet could sail the seven seas. A handsome yacht that was both strong and seaworthy, while remaining capable of being operated and maintained with a minimum of crew. The outward appeal of Marguerite hinges on the refinement of traditional lines and classic standards. Long overhangs and a graceful sheer dominate her lanky deep-green hull. Since her launching she has cruised to many ports around the world and made heads turn.

The combination of the sailing qualities of this 28.0-metre (92 ft) ketch, designed by Sparkman & Stephens and with the warmth of the elegant Redman Whiteley Dixon interior, produced a spectacularly successful yacht, immaculately finished to the finest detail. Exquisite darkened varnished mahogany gives her a sublime appearance.

In 1999 Marguerite won the Superyacht Society Design Award for ‘Best sail interior’. A stunning result and statement to the Owner, designer, our building team and everybody involved!
