Tintagel

Tintagel is a 16.8-metre (55 ft) cutter-rigged sloop designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects to meet stringent stability standards. This aluminium yacht incorporates a deep-draught winged keel and carbon fibre mast, ensuring good roll performance at all angles. Sail handling is centred on a large and relatively deep cockpit.

The exterior woodwork is in teak with classic detailing throughout. A flush deck layout, classic skylights and the small and low coachroof give Tintagel a classic look. Her detailed transom with tumblehome, spoon-shaped bow and sweeping sheer line add further grace.

Light weight mahogany with raised and fielded panels is used throughout the interior which has a white varnished ceiling with mahogany beams and maple floors. The expansive salon is enhanced by the open-plan galley and navigation area as well as by the daylight flooding through the skylights and large portholes.
