The ceremony was witnessed by the owners and their team, with the owner being asked to make the first weld himself in true Vitters’ tradition. Lloyds were also in attendance to officially register and stamp the construction with the hull and project number 3095.

Signed in September 2023, the ketch will feature the long overhangs, classic lines and traditional finishes which Hoek Design is so well known for. The interior will also be designed by Hoek Design, who will be working together with the renowned American designer, Bunny Williams of Williams Lawrence inc. on the interior decoration.

The key design features include three timber-clad deckhouses, very spacious owner’s and guest accommodation aft, while a large, central owner’s cockpit will be the focal point of the deck layout. She will be powered by a full hybrid propulsion and energy system, giving her an emission free period, and keeping future regulations in mind.

One hundred and twenty tons of aluminium will be used to construct the hull, which will be completed in Spring 2025. The hull will then be moved for fitout to a brand-new shed which is being built at the shipyard premises in Zwartsluis.

Delivery of the yacht is scheduled for summer 2026, with Van Ineveld & Co. overseeing the build on behalf of the owners.
