Hull of Project 3095 Turned and Moved into Brand New Shed
Almost one year after the keel was laid, Project 3095 has reached a major milestone.
The 113-ton hull, constructed in-house by Vitters, has been successfully turned and positioned on its cradles, marking the transition into the outfitting phase.
During outfitting, multiple disciplines will come together. Once the hot work on board is complete, the painter will be among the first subcontractors to begin work, followed by the electrical systems supplier.
Early in this phase, interior subcontractors will also commence installation. Project 3095 is the first vessel to take up residence in Vitters’ brand-new production shed. Measuring an impressive 80 meters in length and 30 meters in width, the shed was last Saturday inaugurated by the children of Vitters employees, under the motto: “Children are the future—Vitters is ready for the future.” The shed’s main door is now closed and will reopen in the summer of 2026, when Project 3095 will be unveiled to the world in its full glory.
Project 3095 is a 68-meter ketch, with both exterior and interior design by Hoek Design. Interior styling is led by Bunny Williams, and Van Ineveld & Co is overseeing the build on behalf of the owners.
