The 2026 St. Barths Bucket Regatta delivered once again, with thrilling races and unforgettable moments.

This year’s event began with a new, optional race on Thursday that gave participants a chance to stretch their sails and size-up the competition. With race three cancelled due to high winds, attendees were pleased to have had this opportunity for an extra sail.

On race day one, Maximus was the victor, finishing 30 seconds ahead of her closest competitor. Taking third-in-class for race two, gave Maximus 2nd place on the podium at the end of the week, having enjoyed fierce but friendly competition from the rest of Les Gazelles des Mers.

Bas Peute, Sales and Marketing manager at Vitters joined the race team for some of the action: “I was so impressed by the teamwork onboard – an exciting and truly special moment to feel the force of this remarkable 59-metre superyacht powered up under full sail.”
